I have been to Chamonix a few times to run trails in the mountains and I usually try to get to this pool center also. The indoor pool in the same complex is also nice

It is a 50-meter pool.
Wow. I would never leave. I would just swim and swim and swim.

Yup, it’s cool. And you don’t have to be a member to swim there!

Really?! Well then, I’m on my way (and may never leave).
@Bryn
You have to pay, but it’s not a ‘club’—it’s public.
The indoor one is stunning too.
I’ll be in Chamonix in March. What is the name of the place with the pool, and can anyone swim there?

It is called Richard Bozon Swimming Pool.

Yes, you just pay a fee.
Now that’s a pool I’ll be willing to do 100x100s in!

Same!
I hope you’re a skier too! Gorgeous!

I’m not a great skier, but yes, it would be great to ski there. It’s one of the most amazing outdoor towns I have visited.
For those who have never ventured there, it has hiking, running, trail running, mountain biking, paragliding, rock climbing, cool gondolas, etc., during spring, summer, and fall, and all the typical winter fun activities during winter. Plus, endless restaurants and stores.
I see a mountain with ice. How do you swim in that cold?

That is several thousand feet up—air temps are in the mid to high 70s in late August when I go. The water temp is also fine.
Swimming inside should be a criminal offense when that’s the outside option—absolute dream!
Wow, what a fantastic view!
