Just had our first morning practice with the team I coach
This is my pool. There are many like it, but this one is mine
My pool is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it the same way I master my life.

Looks like you have the budget to keep that scoreboard running too. Very impressive.
@Arlo
We input our entire workout there so swimmers can track their progress and see which parts are tough. We’ve learned it helps bring out the best performance in peak sets since they know it’s the last hard effort, among other things.
It also helps during the mornings when we do circuit training, so everyone knows what they have to do.
That’s a nice dry erase board.

I don’t get to see anything, I just follow what my coaches say .
I’d love to swim a 200 in that pool. Haven’t swum since high school. I miss it.

Why are the starting blocks set so far back

It’s a camera trick. The front edge is flush with the wall.
The gutters are pretty wide, so they are set back a bit further than normal.
@Payne
I see that the front edge is flush, but those frames are massive and seem to lack support

They’re hefty Pentair / Paragon blocks with track start fins and rails. We use RJP Takeoff pads for meets. They’ve held up great for 15 years lol
I would love to swim here.
Awesome
I enjoy a fast pool. It looks gorgeous
Looks amazing
Is that Delta state? I remember they were a division two powerhouse way back when I was swimming
