Hey guys, I’m swimming 3-4 times a week and also love mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, and skiing. Does anyone know a good sportwatch for these activities, with a main focus on swimming?
If you don’t mind the price tag, the Apple Watch Ultra would be great. It’s a rugged, sport-focused version of the Apple Watch.
I love my Garmin Instinct 2!
I use my Garmin and it’s great for swimming as well as hiking. I’ve tried it a few times cycling, and it was quite accurate too. It has loads of different sports options, and I’ve had mine for a few years—it’s durable. I used to have a Fitbit, but I hated the strap, and mine broke multiple times. Garmins seem much more sport-focused compared to Fitbits.

Do you have the Garmin Fenix? Or?

Oh yeah, sorry—I left that out! It’s a Vivoactive 4S, so it’s not one of the newer ones, but it’s a great piece of kit!
The Xiaomi Band 7 is a steal for 50 bucks, but it’s not the greatest.
The Garmin Forerunner 255 is great for this! It’s fairly expensive, but not bank-breaking like some of the others.
I use a Garmin Forerunner 745 and it’s great; it has a triathlon mode too.
I’ve been using the Coros Pace 3 for a year now. I mainly focus on swimming, strength training, and cycling, and it does the job very well. It’s quite cheap compared to Garmin and Apple, plus the battery life is amazing. I’ve used Fitbit before, and it doesn’t perform well in the pool. I’ve heard Xiaomi bands are pretty good and very cheap, but I wasn’t very impressed.
