Can’t find jammers that cover butt crack

The team requires jammers over briefs or square leg?

Yep. I don’t think it’s a requirement of the league. I’ve seen kids from other schools wear briefs at meets. I think it’s the coaches at my son’s school making the requirement.

@Finley
Talk to the coach about your concern.

@Finley
That’s kinda ridiculous if true. What’s the reasoning? Talk to the school and coach staff because a different type of suit could potentially solve this issue.

We weren’t given a reason but based on comments made during the parent meeting I imagine it has to do with modesty. Or her opinion of it anyway.

@Finley
The coaches, noticing that there is a problem and that parents and others are making comments may make an exception for him. Talk with the coach.

Try a women’s high leg bikini.

Maybe look for something that is labeled high-waisted. They often are made to sit higher.

I find that jammers fit extremely snug on the thighs relative to a given waist size. Briefs alleviate this but many guys are body sensitive in briefs. Another option is to cut the lining out of the legs of the jammer. The way most are sewn there would still be a modesty liner in the front. The lining in the legs is not needed and can add to the riding down as it doesn’t stretch the same as the outer layer. I’ve had enough linings fail and need to be ripped out that I can assure you it is only sewn in at the seams and is otherwise unattached. You won’t damage an otherwise perfectly good suit if you simply cut it out. The suit should feel comparatively more stretchy with it removed.
