Check out my empty pool in Poland with an inside water park

Nice What’s the pool’s length

Sadly only 25 meters It’s hard to find a 50 meter pool in rural Poland

Most pools are 25 yards so that’s pretty standard

Only in America

25 meters is almost equal to 25 yards too Also, when I looked up the average pool length in Europe, it showed 25 meters.

Having swum in both meter and yard pools, the difference is significant enough to notice

@Adrian
It absolutely matters, it’s an extra stroke in butterfly or breaststroke, turning a 200 into a 225 if you swim yards

The 1500m is the 1650y in the US or else it would skip a whole 6 lengths

It seems like every town in Australia has a 50 meter pool; I’ve seen very few 25 meter ones.

@Kit
Most pool centers I know have both lengths.

Just wait Tomorrow you might wonder why it got busy all of a sudden It’s nice to have a quiet pool. I prefer quiet over busy.

I really envy you

Honestly I would just live in that pool

Was this a common situation in Poland? That was how EU funds got spent. There’s an oddly placed aquatic center near where a friend lives close to Gdansk, I can’t remember the name.

Such a beauty If it’s 98% empty, how do they manage costs to keep the pool running

Like I said, it’s inside the water park and they have over 1500 visitors every day. To enter this pool, it costs an extra 3€ so we can have peace without bothering others from the water park.

@Devan
That’s amazing! It must be so peaceful to swim there.

@Devan
Does that mean you have to pay the water park entry fee plus another fee

No, that would be silly. You can just pay 3€ to swim or get a monthly pass for 33€. The extra 3€ keeps most water park visitors out so we have our peace.

That’s beautiful
