First time using paddles and I’m not sure if the size is okay.
It’s fine as it is, but you can downsize if it feels too heavy. A good rule of thumb is that the paddle should be the same size or smaller than your face (that’s a tip from my coach).

Thank you!!

Listen to your rotator cuff muscles! If it’s causing sharp pain (not just typical soreness), stop using it and go down a size. Paddles are not meant to make pulling easier; too much shoulder pain isn’t a sign of progress. Slightly bigger than your hand is good for progress.

The Finis Agility paddles are strapless for a reason. If the fingers extend over the edge of the paddle, it defeats the purpose of this design!

Yeah, these paddles are my go-to, been using them since I was 15, lol! They help me feel more connected with my stroke.

Great advice! I bought some paddles from Finis that you can switch between hands, but after a few sessions, I had rotator cuff issues. It took me nearly six months to recover, but I found a swimming training that helped fix the problem.
This looks a bit big to me, but try it out and watch for shoulder pain. I tend to prefer smaller paddles to avoid the risk of shoulder injury.

Interesting, I’ll keep an eye out.
Yes, it looks like it could move around too much and put unnecessary strain on your shoulders.

If the paddle moves on your hand, you need to adjust your hand pitch until it feels glued to your hand.
Those Finis paddles work really well, but only if they fit properly.
No.
Not to sound weird, but you should consider being a hand model. That hand looks like it belongs in a dictionary.
