Let me share my almost empty pool in Serbia I found while following a guy from Poland

Living in the inner city of Australia during a hot summer, I can’t help but feel a bit jealous

I totally get that! Our pools in Sydney are always crowded, even in winter

@Zaire
No matter the season, the pools I visited in Denmark and Germany were nearly always busy with schools, swim clubs, morning swimmers, water yoga, baby swimming, tourists, and lots of regular swimmers of all ages

I really like this trend. It would be awesome if this forum keeps it going

Those empty pools and calm waters are so relaxing

You know you’re in Serbia when they set it up for water polo instead of lap swimming

So true

What city is this and which sports center are you talking about?

It’s the Indoor City Swimming Pool in Pirot
(not very creative, I know)

I actually think it’s pretty original and that pool looks amazing. Color me envious

That looks gorgeous. Why aren’t there many swimmers around?

Everyone I talk to says they want to go, but something always stops them, and they come up with excuses. Seems pretty lazy if you ask me

P.S. On top of that, entry is free for half the city, or if you need a ticket, it’s just about 1 euro

@Clay
That’s really nice

If it looks too nice to be empty, it might just be too cold to swim

Nope, the water is heated! Usually around 27-28 degrees Celsius

How do places like this even stay open?

It’s a public facility, so the city funds it. My company helps out too. It’s something the public needs, like roads or parks

You have no idea how lucky you are

Haha

I’m so jealous
