We bought a 25-year-old house, and after a few repairs, the pool pump finally failed. The sand filter is also leaking and needs replacing.
Can anyone recommend a multi-stage pump and filter? Ideally, I’d like everything to connect since I already have a Pentair Mastertemp 200 heater. I also have a smart home system running on HomeAssistant, so I’d love a system that integrates well.
Preferences:
Multi-stage pump for energy savings
A system where all parts work together
Smart home connectivity
Willing to invest in quality without overspending
Any suggestions?

Compared to Pentair or Hayward, the Jandy FloPro is far more user-friendly and the simplest scheduler available.

Go for the Aqua star pipeline filter.

For a pseudo-automation (changing speed and flow, phone controls), I believe the Intelliflo3 would be the best option. It could even be able to operate the heating. I’m not sure. Regarding the filter, just get a new sand filter unless the water line is broken, in which case I would recommend a cartridge filter, which is excellent with variable speed pumps and doesn’t require a drain line.

Look for a business that handles jandy. Purchase a TCX controller, a smart pump, a new sand filter, and a chlorinator so that you can operate everything from your phone. I would advise against using a saltwater system.

@CurrentCraze Nobody has many Jandy replacement parts in stock, whether Pentair or Hayward, and that will come back to haunt you.
