What's up with Adam Peaty being left out of the program?... any thoughts?

Hey everyone, did you see the news about Adam Peaty not being included in Aquatics GB’s world-class program for 2025? It’s kinda surprising given he’s a six-time Olympic medalist. I know there were questions about his retirement plans after the Paris Olympics, but still, it feels odd. What does everyone think about this decision?

Right? I mean, he’s been such a huge part of British swimming. I hope he’s still around for 2028.

He said he’d compete if the 50m breaststroke event is added, so fingers crossed they do that!

It’s crazy that he won three golds and now he’s not part of the top-tier program. I hope he gets the support he needs.

Exactly! And he’s just taking a break for now, so he’s not done yet.

Yeah, but I wonder how hard it’ll be for him to get back to his peak form again…

Maybe, but if he’s still able to train and perform well, it could work out for him after this break.
