I swam in one of these at summer camp in upstate NY when I was a kid! We do have them, I guess you need access to a lake or something to find one.

@Justice
None of the lakes around me do :frowning:

@Justice
Me too. Camp Oratam. Or Frost Valley. Or both. Either way I hated it those swims.

Open water pool is pretty cool :sunglasses:

The manu world championships final will be held there in March heats there next week. $3,000 for the champion.

@Dev
Yessss I saw the poster!!

I’ve seen such pools in Greece and France, but found that it really doesn’t help with my thalassophobia :joy:
I’m an indoor pool fish :joy::joy:

Fair, I had to keep telling myself ‘This is the same as your normal pool!!! It’s fine.’

@Bin
At least yours has lanes! But yeah it’s so stressful, there literally could be a fish right there :cold_sweat:

Is this the new pool by the viaduct? I hadn’t realized they put swim lanes in there. How did you find is so close to the marina, was the water clean you reckon?

They post water quality daily. I visited it twice on my trip there in January. Coolest pool I’ve ever been to. But unfortunately, the quality was bad both days. Due to rain I presume.

Beautiful! :v: from California. What’s the water temp like there? Guess you’re in summer so it might be nice!

And down to about 14 in mid-winter. But it’s pretty OK swimming from November until April.

The alkaline sea water rich in minerals is also good for your skin.

That’s amazing.
