I’m looking to upgrade my swimming gear and would love some recommendations on essential swimming accessories for adults. What items do you find most useful for improving performance, comfort, and enjoyment in the pool? Any advice on specific brands or products would be greatly appreciated.
Having these swimming gears you cant go wrong @Gianna Just check them out:
- Swim Goggles: Look for anti-fog lenses and a comfortable fit.
- Swim Cap: Opt for durable silicone caps.
- Swim Fins: Improve leg strength with quality options.
- Pull Buoy: Enhance upper body strength.
- Kickboard: Perfect for practicing kicks and core strength.
These items can greatly enhance your swimming comfort and performance.
@Gianna don’t forget that @Gianna needs also swimming earplugs, and arm floats (not just about safety but also acts to relax muscle tension and improve posture)
Hey, no need for a cap at all. But, wearing tight trunks can actually help with your kicks and give you a speed boost, which is super handy for staying afloat. Just keep it simple and skip the pricey gear—no need for a tech suit unless you’re racing. Save your money for something else! Just try and stick with the basics.
In my opinion, you should bring goggles, a cap, small swimmers, a tiny bottle of shampoo or soap and a snack bar for a quick boost.
Hello Gerald
I appreciate the advise. I will undoubtedly stick to the essentials and try not to overspend on equipment. It sounds like an excellent idea to use tight trunks to increase speed. Thank you for the advice to forego the tech suit unless you’re racing. Simplicity is undoubtedly the best approach. Once again, thank you!
