How far is your pool from your house?

1hr but it’s a 3min walk from my office. So I get in at lunch 2/3 days a week.

2-3 min walk from home…literally behind one corner :)).

So lucky you guys are.

10 min walk. It’s part of a nearby fitness club that I go to.

Well, I’m kind of in the same boat with you since I’m living in a small town so it takes me 85km or ~1-1.5h to drive to the nearest swimming hall. I do that trip maybe 1-3 times a week.

There is a spa closer by, it takes 20 min to drive there, but a) it’s full of tourists and b) the one and only lane is under 20 meters. And I prefer the standard 25m lanes way too much.

So yeah. It’s a hassle, but a girl gotta do what she gotta do lol.

5 minutes by foot.

I can walk there in 10 mins but always do at least a 5k walk as a warm up on the way.

No joke, I can look out my window and see it. 50 meters away.

5 min walk.

6 minutes by car. It’s on the way to my kid’s school, so I stop there after the school drop off, very handy.

You could read books on your journey there and back, and learn new things, so it wouldn’t be a waste of time at all.

I’m pretty lucky to have my pool be a walking distance from my house. I’ve sworn to myself that if I ever move, my house needs to be near a pool.

Dude, you’re dedicated. I have a community pool steps from my house. Best part is when I go and no one is there and I can swim sans suit. I need to start a new streak…

You have some guts.

15 minutes by car, I consider it close; the facility is nice and not overcrowded. Steam room is good too.

2 local to me (full aquatic centre with Olympic pool).

One is train + a 5 min walk (most direct route).

One is a 12 min drive through suburbia.

I have two 25 metre pools I go to. One is about 10 minutes away and the other 15 minutes away. The nearest 50 metre pool is about an hour away though.

Seven minutes by car (rec center run by the town). I swim for about an hour every day that I’m not traveling, 7 days a week.

35 minutes there because it’s at five am and no traffic. 45 min to an hour back. The worst part is that sometimes the woman in charge of opening it doesn’t show up so I drive there for nothing :rage:.

We just recently moved so we could be closer to my daughter’s training pools. We are now 5 min from the SCM and 10 from the LCM. Previously we were doing 45 min-1 hour round trip 1-2x a day and it got to be too much.

35 min by car.

There is no public transport that late because I finish my swim at 10pm and then I would have to take one bus from the pool to the main bus station and another bus home, but the last bus going to my village departs at 10:30pm from the main bus station.
