Today was the last time I swam outside in the 100m pool Next session I will be swimming in the 25m pool
100m, 50m or 25m doesn’t matter to me as long as it’s not packed. Pure luxury if you just have your own lane but that picture looks amazing for sure
It’s been almost a year since I’ve been swimming due to recovery for an eating disorder, this looks so beautiful and motivating to get better so I can swim again. By the way, good luck with the war and stay safe!

Lebanon, a small country in the Middle East, currently going through war but I’m in a safe area for now! Swimming is the only thing that keeps me sane.
@Amanda
Stay safe! Your country does not deserve what is happening and I hope there will be peace for you soon.

Same! We have some 50m pools here but I’m too scared to try it just yet. 100m seems intense.

It takes a while to adapt to swimming in a 100m pool but once you get used to it, swimming in 25m becomes very frustrating!

It was beautiful
Not bad but honestly with that weather I would swim in the sea all day. I was in Malta earlier this month and Lebanon looks just as good. If I ever get a chance I want to spend an entire autumn and/or early winter in a hot country because it feels miserable going back to North Italy which is not even good cold but just gloomy and depressing during this season.
@Archer
I love swimming in the sea; however it’s not recommended to do it alone, that’s why most of the time I’m in the pool! But yeah, the sea is lovely during autumn, even early winter! We have days where it’s super windy and the waves are high but from September to mid-December it’s beautiful! We have a saying here that we use during these months, ‘el baher zeit’ means the sea is like oil which is calm and shiny. I can’t imagine living in a gloomy country honestly. Maybe when the war is over, consider visiting here; we have lovely beaches! Google areas like Batroun and Kfaraabida!

You can swim in outdoor pools all winter in south Florida, USA. The pools are heated. You would need a thin wetsuit to swim in the ocean.

Is the constant rain not an issue or is that managed by the pool chemicals?
@Milan
Not much rain in south Florida from mid-November through late April. The grass has to be watered. Here’s a climate synopsis chart.
I always felt like a ping pong ball bouncing off the walls whenever I’d go from 50m to 25m
