Are the main drain and return jet plugs the same as the blowout ports? It’s my first time closing my pool.

The person who set up your pump system should never work on pools again. It looks like they used the wrong type of plumbing parts for the job.

@Terryanne I was thinking the same thing. They make schedule 40 sweeps, but those don’t look like them.

You don’t need to worry. Just lower the water level below the skimmers and return jets. Add RV antifreeze and block the pipes for the winter.

The black valves on the left side of the picture control the skimmer and drains.The circled valves on the right don’t have handles, but they control the jets and returns.
