Men, if you have worn the Speedo polymesh drag suit (or any polymesh drag suit, for that matter), how do you like it?

I’m a bit shy to wear a swim brief, but these look like something I may be interested in since they have the shape and fit of the swim brief, but the loose mesh helps to conceal a bit of the area.

I like jammers, but would prefer the support of a brief and these seem like a good option for that type of fit, while not being as revealing.

It’s all I wore in college. I was in pretty good shape. I wear it around occasionally, but try to wear boardshorts when at the Y when playing with my kids.

I pretty much exclusively trained in these growing up. It’s a little loose, so I don’t know if you’ll get the support you mentioned with the brief. However, you can always wear them over your brief to get support + the baggier look.

@Uma
Brief and drag suit are what I still wear.

I sometimes wear board shorts for the extra drag though my go-to are jammers. After a while, I stopped caring how revealing or not they are. There’s always someone better or worse to look at in the pool. LOL

Love it, wore one for years and it was my preferred training suit.

Brief and drag suit is my go-to. Been wearing that combo since I was a kid.

So you wear both? If so, I will consider that.

Correct, I wear the drag suit over the briefs.

You kinda have to wear it over jammers or briefs. Drag suits are pretty much see-through mesh.

@Vince
Not true. Most drag suits have multiple layers to provide coverage and to create drag. I’ve swum in drag suits only most of my life.

I have never understood drag suits. A pair of running shorts would have the same effect.

It’s actually designed to sit in chlorine for hours a day.

I wear one for drag and to not subject the public to the sight of me in a brief or boy short Speedo. I do 2 miles in just under one hour. (3300 in 58:49 is my personal best)
