My gym has a nearly empty 3 lane pool

It’s only 25 yards long but just 5 minutes from my house, and I really enjoy not having to share it

I swam 3k today and had to deal with 4 moms, 6 kids, 11 grannies, 14 dogs, and even a giraffe. Where do people find these pools

I thought the same. It looks like my pool but I know it’s not because their heater is broken

This pool is a bit warmer than I like but I’ve gotten used to it. The heater broke for a few days a couple of weeks ago and the temperature was perfect

That mural looks poorly designed. It looks like someone is trying to do a swan dive but ends up belly flopping

I had an LA membership for years in one city, but when I moved and started at the new place the pool wasn’t well maintained.

The chemicals were always off. One time there was a used band-aid floating in the pool on Saturday. I reported it and when I went back on Monday, it was still there. The deck always felt gritty and dirty.

I miss having a place where I could swim a few thousand yards almost anytime

Ours is well maintained. They clean the deck almost every day

This looks like LA Fitness. I tried it in Toronto and various smaller cities, and never found one with a clean pool. Hope you’re having better luck!

Mine is pretty good, not perfect, but usually nothing I would call bad

That’s nice because like you, the pools at LA Fitness are often not busy, which is always nice

Do you have a separate spa and sauna or are they in the same room?

The spa is in the pool room and the sauna is in the locker rooms
