Pool Financing Companies

Does anyone know of a good pool financing company they’ve used and had a great experience with? My family and I want to build a pool but don’t have the cash upfront, so we need to finance it. We have a young daughter who loves the pool, and I don’t want to wait until we can save up the full amount. Any recommendations would be super helpful!

We used THIS in 2022; it was quite simple, you get a rate based on a soft draw of your credit report, and there isn’t a hard inquiry until you proceed.

They were the cheapest of all the people we spoke with; they essentially act as brokers for banks, charging a set fee as a percentage of the entire amount invested. The whole time it took from application to money wires to our account was 10 days, and we received the funds months before the project started. It was effortless and quick, with no draws or status checks, and the entire amount was wired and available for use. All of the local banks and credit unions wanted 8 to 10, but we only received 5.25. The total after financing and broker fees came out to be 6%.

@Gia You’re welcome. The funny thing is- when I looked up the bank that financed our project, their starting rates for unsecured loans were like 10% or 11%. But thanks to HFS brokering the deal, we got 5.25%. :man_shrugging:t2:

Three years ago, we utilized Discover Home Loans, which offered very low rates and fees as well as a quick and uncomplicated application and funding process. I’m not sure how the rates look today.

Either LYON Financial or HFS are my all-time recommendations.

They both do soft pulls on your credit for pre-approval, and LYON now offers terms of up to thirty years.

Also, check with your local bank or credit union. We took up a second mortgage via our local credit union and obtained a better rate than one of those pool lending businesses.

Many individuals utilize Lyon Financial.
However, if you want to save money, Heloc should be it.
