I’m considering getting a new pool and I’m torn between a saltwater pool and a traditional chlorine pool. I’ve heard that saltwater pools have some advantages, but I’m not sure what they are.
Can anyone share their experiences or knowledge about the benefits of saltwater pools compared to chlorine pools?
Saltwater pools are gentler on the skin and eyes since they have lower chlorine levels, and they often require less maintenance because the system generates chlorine naturally. On the other hand, traditional chlorine pools can be more straightforward and have lower upfront costs. It depends on what you value more, comfort and ease of maintenance or initial savings and simplicity.
