My favorite swimming strokes are the butterfly, breaststroke, and freestyle. While breaststroke develops muscle and butterfly increases speed, freestyle promotes endurance. In addition to swimming’s cardiovascular benefits, cross-training with weightlifting and yoga enhances total strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness for a well-rounded fitness plan.
