Which cap is worth more for racing?

Which of these two, Arena 3D soft or Arena 3D ultra, is superior? I’d like to get one for racing, but 3D soft is more expensive, even though I’ve heard it’s more comfortable, and 3D ultra is just less expensive.

I recommend getting the Fastskin cap from Speedo. It feels really smooth in the water and has helped me perform well in swim meets. Usually, it’s around $40, which I think is a bit expensive. But if you can find it on sale for $20-25 on Speedo’s site or SwimOutlet, it’s a great deal. I haven’t tried the Arena cap since I don’t need another one, but this is what I personally suggest.

The 3D Ultra Race cap is more comfortable and performs better; nevertheless, the 3D Soft cap may be a better option.

It depends with your priorities. For comfort, the Arena 3D Soft may be worth the extra cost.

If your budget is tight and you primarily need a cap for racing that offers good performance without the highest level of comfort, the Arena 3D Ultra should be your pick.
